Question HK45

So I'm aware that the HK45 is not on the approved list and that PPT options are availalbe but is anyone aware of the possibility of the HK45 becoming approved in CA? Is there something holding back HK from this process?

Yes it does. Just not one that's accepted by the new requirements.

I've read somewhere, maybe HKPRO, that someone saw HK had a catalog of some sort, showing an optional mag discon. for the HK45. IIRC, they also said that HK had this option, to meet the demands of some contract they had, or a contract they were going to sign???

anyway...as long as the roster is around...we gonna pay a premium.

The problem probably won't lie with the magazine disconnect, since that's rather easy to verify. The problem will be with the chamber loaded indicator, for which DOJ BOF has some ridiculous requirements. IIRC, only one or no handguns have been approved since the new requirements for a chamber loaded indicator have been set, aside from those with "close enough to an approved model" exemption (like the Glock RTF models)
