New SIG pistols

Where does a shooter put their second hand on that pistol? Underneath the front area like a rifle?

I was excited about the X-5 Tactical until i saw it was SAO. I hope they are also offering a DA/SA version of that, too (without a beavertail!). I wonder if it could be converted???
