Does somebody have any input on it?
I've been looking at the P225 on AIM's website everyday for the past week, and I'm seriously considering ordering one. Are you able/would you be willing to post some pics of yours? Thanks

I do not have camera at the moment, but it's the same as on aimsurplus.com picture or may be slightly better. Threre is no need to spend money on refinishing it.

These are all from the West German police, Turners is selling a crapload of them. I want to get one but I've already got a handgun this month.

          Eastbayguy,
thanks for the info. I called, but they were already closed First on list-to-do tomorrow morning

where did you get DROS and transfer done? The FFL that I go to, charge a lot for out of state transfers....if you don't mind telling me how much you paid for the transfer fee (you can PM if u want). Also, how much was shipping?

          thanks

            These are apparently "European" guns.

But do these use the thumb button mag release like other guns we all know & love, or do they use the funny Euro-style "heel of butt" mag release?

The pictures indicate the former, but I wonder... someone let us know!

It's a thumb button mag release, the shipping charges were 14$ (they shipped it
to FFL dealer by priority mail).
I used Irvington Arms, they have the standard 50$+25$DROS fees.

                any FFL in Nor Cal (Sacto/Roseville/Rocklin-Auburn) that charge $50 + DROS? I can't find anybody under $100 - $130.

                thanks

I got one from Turners with significant holster wear to the slide. I also observed a yellow spot on the breech and on other plated parts of the slide. I do not know what those yellow spots are or how to get rid of them. What are they?

Are they double action only or DA/SA? Aim does not indicate this in their description.

just ordered one for my wife, i had to pay $40 for shipping but the price for the pistol will be $444 OTD so its not too bad, would have been $24 cheaper if my FFL would use USPS.
