    Shooting Ranges in SOCAL

First of all, I'm new here and if this is in the wrong location, I apologize. Thanks

Are there any shooting ranges in Socal that allow WOLF ammo? I'm looking for Indoor shooting ranges preferably, I've gone to Burro Canyon and they allow WOLF ammo, but most of the indoor ranges I've called do not.

    Thanks!

I haven't had any problems with Wolf at Insight in Artesia.

Yea, I called them and asked about Wolf and they said it was no problem, so I blasted about 100rds of it there

I don't personally shoot it, but I've seen what appear to be wolf casings littering the floor at OC Indoor Range in Brea.

Sharpshooter in Torrance is a good indoor range also; I don't think they have a problem with steel cases but call them to make sure. They are unique in that you can bring your own shotgun and shoot it with buckshot or slugs. They are also setting up a lane or two for centerfire rifle use.

Thanks guys, I called up OC Indoor shooting range in Brea and they allow Wolf ammunition. Which is very close to where I live (riverside).

                Thanks again!

Riverside is close to Brea? o.O You have a strange conception of "Close." >.>

Still, OC Indoor is a cool place with cool people, so I'm sure you'll be happy.

I consider 20-25 minute drive to brea from the 91 to be pretty close

On Target in Laguna Niguel (right off the 5) not only allows Wolf, but will also allow you to take their 1 hr class and then shoot your rifles (with Wolf ammo) up to .50cal!

                        Best range around.

The only problem with shooting Wolf ammo indoors though, is the smoke screen you will get out of it. Oh, and it stinks too. Happy shooting.

It wasn't too bad last time I shot a few rounds at burro canyon, but you're right, it will be different indoors and to be quite honest with you, I won't buy this ammo again. I was sort of in a pinch at the time and needed ammo badly, no one around me had any good .40cal 180gr ammo for a reasonable price. Next time I plan on buying federal .40 FMJ
