Best source for Glock 19 barrels?

    Hi all--

I'm looking for one of two barrels (or maybe both). What're the best sources with best prices for:

    1) factory Glock 19 barrel

    2) KKM match barrel, non-ported and non-threaded, for the Glock 19

    Thanks in advance!

I searched high and low for the best price on a KKM barrel and found it to be cheapest directly from KKM.

Cool--thanks! How do you like your KKM, by the way? Do you have any feeding or accuracy problems? Did you have to fit the barrel by filing/grinding the locking surfaces?

Glock barrels are more accurate, and are factory parts for the gun. I believe glockworld.com has them for sale.

Barrels like the KKM are good for caliber conversions or if you need to shoot lead bullets. Outside of that there's no reason to use them.

You mean you BELIEVED that Glock OEM barrle is MORE accurate than KKM's match barrel?

Lone Wolf also has good prices on Glock and other brands of barrels.

Lone Wolf Arms is the largest manufacturer of aftermarket parts for Glocks. We also have M&P Shield, Beretta/Taurus, and Browning Hi-Power parts.

No, from every report I've seen the Glock OEM barrels are more accurate. However, you can't shoot lead through them, which is the only downside. So if you're reloading then perhaps one of the rifled aftermarket barrels is better for you, if not, then stay OEM.

Yes you can. You will have the same problems with an aftermarket barrel as you will with a Factory Glock barrel. What you HAVE to do is measure you barrel and use the appropriate size lead bullet. All I shoot is lead out of my factory glock G19, and yes, I have all my finger and never had a KB.

You can shoot lead out of the factory glock barrel, you just need to clean it more often and make absolutely sure you get the lead out.

I shoot molycoated lead out of my G23 all the time, just need to clean it, A LOT.
