Question about one handgun every 30 days

How exactly is the 30 day period calculated? Does it go from DROS to DROS date, or pickup date to DROS date?

I envy you people who are restricted more by dates than money in buying handguns

Fortunately, you can buy as much ammo as you want. I mentioned to a former room mate that I've built up over 3k rounds of ammo (which ain't that much, c'mon, we all know there will be more zombies than that) and he wanted to know if the ATF was going to come after me.

1 pistol a month doesn't apply to PPT. You can buy as many as you want.

And, if you have a C&R FFL and COE, you are exempt from the "one handgun per thirty days" limit for non-C&R handguns.

It's a vast left wing conspiracy to deprive Califronians of their Constitutional rights!

Its a vast left wing conspiracy to make you push paper with the ATF and DOJ

But seriously... its a conspiracy to take rights away - yes.

You can also buy as many used handguns as you want at a store.
It only applies to new handguns

eh?. I thought the only exemption was PPT. If a dealer has a used handgun its exempt from the 30 day?

                      Only if it's a consignment - that's a PPT.

Wrong, unless it is a consignment gun.

---shall not be infringed --except in Kalifornia & a few others

It's too bad that California is so anti-constitution (2nd Amendment). And is having to wait 30 days infringing on the right to bear arms? -- I guess some lawyers have decided it isn't and I bet none of them own any guns themselves! How many thugs wait 30 days before buying a paperwork-free gun on the street -- Calif. or elsewhere? Excuse the commentary -- I guess the posting question was answered.

No one has made the determination that 1 handgun a month is a violation of the Second Amendment because here in California, the claim is that the Second Amendment doesn't apply...
