    Lucky Day Today: SCORE!

It's some kind of Smith M19 in .357 Magnum, I know that much.
    serial #20K22**

I see a barrel pin, but that's about as much as I know.

Came with a black, S&W, thumb brake leather holster. Tight lockup, nice finish, cycles just fine.

I figured at $375 I should just go ahead and snag it.

    What say you?

    I hate you LOL

Nice score. The gun looks pretty too. You get to bring her home the same day since it is TX right?

Don't they give out free guns with a case of beer too? Haha jk

20K shows it to be made in 1977. 19-4 P&R.

      Nice find.

Yep, private sale is just that, private.

This one came with a six pack of Dr. Pepper and a box of Slim Jim's.

              Good pick-up Doc.
The way some gunshop clerks spout off, you'd think that they invented gunpowder and the repeating rifle, and sat on the Supreme Court as well.

I wasn't the first to call on it, but I was the first to get there with the cake.

Very good deal and a nice find!

I have that EXACT model and it was my very first handgun purchase. Got it thru a friend of my daddy at work back when I lived in TX. Still have it in fact and it's my most cherished pistol which I'll never part with.

May he/she give you many years of good service and good times.
"People who object to weapons aren't abolishing violence, they're begging for rule by brute force, when the biggest, strongest animals among men were always automatically 'right'. Great deal ! I owned one of these many years ago in nickel and had a "blast" (pun intended) shooting hot .357 handloads (Hogedon H110 or WW296 ball powers) and watching the muzzle flash in an indoor range !

YEAH! Great snag. The 2.5" K-frames are *the* snubby to have -- great to shoot, and great to look at, too.

Awesome price -- I paid ~$550 for a used specimen (with target hammer and trigger!) this time last year.

Well, if that's the case I guess I'll just stash it in the house and let it appreciate.
