    6mm rimfire

Found these in my Dad's desk after he died.

Any one know what firearm they might fit?

The only info I can find is that Sellier & Berlot still makes both 6mm and 4mm pistol ammo, but nothing about the firearm they are designed for.

I can't imagine them being much good for anything other than pissing off small rodents.

They fit a single shot rifle or pistol chambered for 6mm flobert cartridges.
Not being a smart ***, they're mostly European made and called garden rifles or gallery rifles.
They were for small pest control or indoor shooting galleries.
Ammo is still available from S&B.
Rifles can be picked up for cheap on Gunbroker or other auction sites.
They're pretty much like shooting .22 cb caps.
My brother had one that we'd shoot in the basement.
Brother's still around, rifle's long gone.
