Prob cheaper & easier just to remove DA sear in a revolver,
or have a cheap long 22Short bbl w/no feedramp + stiff recoil spring fabricated to get single action or single shot status. (Providing minimum dimension rules are complied with.)

really, you dont think you could just say you were making a short film for yourself with your friends, using it as a prop, then just transfer it to your friend or somthing? you could get any pistol as long as it fit the general guidelines, mac 11 style and such. really all you'd need is you using it in a video production, it says nothing on guidelines as far as the definition of the video production, hell it could just be of you being excited opening your new "toy". just keep the video, and a note from the producer or camera person saying it was bought to be used as a prop in that video, and then sold because it was no longer needed after the filming. We're not done yet, we're not going quietly. We'll win in the end.

Yeah, there are sufficient other ways to legally comply with PC 12133 that movie exemption is more hassle than it's worth.

Front Sight once had a "motion picture permit" and they filmed you shooting FULL AUTOs out at 5 Dogs shooting range when you took their class. Once Front Sight moved to Nevada they still kept up the license here for a couple years and taught shooting classes at 5 Dogs.Mike
