      I shot it tonight and I did experience a bit of chafing on the base of my thumb. I like to rest my strong hand thumb on the thumb safety when I shoot. It wasn't painful at all and didn't notice it until after I left the range. Much better than bleeding all over the place from hammer bite IMO. I only shot 50 rounds, so I'll have to wait and see what it is like after a good session of 200 or so.

      I'm going to take a file and round the edges of the BT a bit and this should eliminate any problems I have I'd think.

        Do you have fat hands? Because I have big hands and even with the extra chunky thumb area on my hand I never got hammer bite on my GI or my friend's Mil-Spec. I did however get blisters from the edge of the beavertail chafing the top of my trigger hand.

          My hands are pretty big, but not fat. I think it just must be the way I grip.

            I don't see how that is an improvement. But I like sper hammer anyway.
