ACP and Super

Just curious Are 45acp and 45 super interchangeable. Besides the obviously higher pressure and thicker case walls what is the difference in the chamber. Can u fire acp reliably through a super chamber and vice verse? I'm not intending to do this with a handgun. I just need information.

Yes exterior dimmensions the same. Issues when putting 45 ACP in a gun set up to handle the 45 super, spring rate may be an issue.

Correct -going from the super rs to a standard 16lb rs will do the trick though.

No. They have the same exterior dimensions.
