Hard to say since we are in CA. I believe someone here sold an XDM for $800? I know it was up there. The thing that sucks is there isn't any 10rd mags so you have to make you own.

I see them on gunbroker for $600-700.

FUD.... I have shot an XDM in Cali owned by a private citizen legality. I just has to be imported legaly (usually pre-owned by LEO) and then Private party transfer. Also need mags limited to 10rds.

Incorrect, the XDm is not illegal in CA. It may not be on the Roster or not unsafe handguns, but that only prohibits one from transfering one through a dealer, with certain exemptions. There are legal ways for you to get an XDm. LEOs can purchase them, move into CA with one (and register it as required); have an grandparent, parent, child, or grandchild gift you one from out of state in an intra-family transfer processed through a dealer, or PPT one from another CA-resident. An LEO can PPT an unwanted non-rostered hadngun to a CA-resident if he wishes.

Now, the fact that there are only large-capacity magazines available from the factory does not make the handgun illegal either. The mags can be disassembled and legally modified into 10-round mags.

that price is also about $60 higher then what I have been seeing in stores.
