    Glock armorers in Monterey Bay?

Anyone know of any glock armorers located in the Monterey Bay area or if there aren't, any near San Jose?

It would help to state why. Most of the time, a Glock owner can be talked through his/her issue right here on Calguns.net or GlockTalk.com, amongst other sites.

A Glock Armorer is merely a person who spent 8 hours in a class taught by a Glock factory/corporate instructor. At completion, they only end up with a Glock manual, (punch) tool, and orange slide cover plate....oh, and a certificate.

I suppose it would have been nice if 10 each of every small part for every Glock was also provided but that just doesn't happen.

5th round in every mag on my Glock 19 keeps failing to feed. I've already tried a few things and now I'm starting to wonder if its the gun. Glock replaced the followers but didn't replace the magazine springs. Rounds keep nosediving into the feed ramp.

You might give Randy Lee a call in Morro Bay. (Apex Tactical).

You might try Bob Ashmore in Monterey.

Let us know how it goes!
I was dealing with my own feeding problem this morning up in San Jose.

In my case, it was primarily Wolf ammo and dirty mags, although I'd never found it necessary to actually clean out a Glock mag until now. I still wouldn't have cleaned the mag if I was using shiny smooth brass cased ammo, but this Wolf stuff created too much friction against itself in a double stacked mag. My 1911 single stack guns ate it up just fine. I ordered some aftermarket Wolff mag springs for my G21SF.

If you still haven't gotten to somebody with a spare mag to substitute as you fire your gun: how old is your G19?; are you using 10 rounders?; what ammo?; any other gun mods?; but I'm guessing the mag springs, too, and possibly a recoil spring if you've got more than ~3K rounds through the existing spring.

Markley's in Watsonville might have a new G19 mag to buy & try, but call 'em first 831.722.6945.

Seems the problem is only with my mags that are marked with a "1" near the glock logo on the lower part of the body. Problem is just like what this guy describes. http://www.glocktalk.com/forums/show...3&postcount=13

There definately seems like there is some friction preventing rounds from being at the right angle for feeding.
