Finally Got It Right: Ultimate Carry .38 Snub

Started with Smith's then a Colt Detective Special, then the Agent, and finally finished mod'ing this unfired 1976 Colt Cobra.

light weight, 6 shots, bobbed hammer, Gary Dean trigger job, Jim Badger grips

This is it, a keeper, boys and girls! Finally got it right.

Yes, the guy I use does an excellent checkering job on them.

            They're very safe operating SA.

              Very Nice!
As a big fan of the .38 snubbie, I realize certain aspects of my guns that could use improvement. Really like what you have done with the Colt.

Whats the story on the barrel?
Looks different than the other Colt Cobra's.

                  NICE!

I just picked up my first Airweight -- a S&W Model 12 round-butt snubby this morning at Tabor's. Snubbies rock..

hmmm....not sure unless you mean the unshrouded ones with the ejector rod exposed.

Yep, Jim Badger made them a couple of weeks ago.

Here's a pic of his usual ones with fingergrooves on my Agent, which, I guess I'll be selling soon:

I heard custom work and trigger jobs were a no no for ccw. The district attorney will paint you as a gun nut if you have to use it for defense.
