WOW! Custom Jim Badger Colt D Frame Boot Grips

Hooly Mooly...mailman came today only a week after I'd called Jim Badger about making some compact boot grips without the finger grooves for my new Cobra.

They showed up today! Can't beat that kind of service.

The Cobra's still at the gunsmith for trigger work, so I mounted them on the Agent just to get a feel for them. They're PERFECT!! Silver/Black, fit my hand and are more concealable than his thicker grips with the finger grooves.

    Big thumb's up to Jim!

    snapped a quick pic...whaddya think??

I'll post more pics when I get 'em mounted on the new Cobra.

          Badger fan here

Badger makes excellent grips and I have a couple pairs of them. He is one of the few that makes boot grips for a Detective Special. Some of the other boot grip manufacturers, like Ahrends and Altamont, don't do them for Detective Specials.

I also like the Badger corian grips (A DuPont synthetic material used on kitchen countertops, looks like ivory) - here are mine on a S&W 686.

The white looks really nice with the stainless, another fine gun!
