    Blackhawk

Anyone like the old model Ruger Three screws?

This one was made in 1971 and it has the 9mm conversion cylinder. I have not shoot it yet.

        OM Blackhawk

I'd like a convertable, but haven't found a good one yet. I do shoot one built three-quarters of the way through 1956. It's a four digit serial number where the first two digits repeat i.e. 6969. As yet it's unconverted but I have a hankerin' for another .41Special since this one is getting a little worn it may go to Dave Clements. We'll see.

I also have a 22 mag only that was given the recall treatment. It shoots good but I don't have the original parts to put her back. It was made in 1960.

I have the NM Blackhawk convertible. It's an absolute pleasure to shoot. And though some claim that 9mm cylinder aren't accurate, I found that's not the case with mine. It shot dead on with all 3 calibers.

Bought my first Blackhawk in 1986 (6.5 inch blue 357/38). Great guns. Over the years, probably put 2500-3000 full magnum loads through it and it continued to ask for more. I sold it in 2008, while thinning out my collection. Gentleman that bought it commented that the action was still 'very nice and tight'.

                I have one with a 5 digit #
it was trashed so I sent it to Ruger a few years ago and had it blued and rebuilt with the transfer bar kit and had the original parts returned... love the gun it's a short barrel and I had a set of AJAX faker ivory stocks put on... the gun used to be loose as a goose now it is tight and shoots well... thinking of sending it to Clements and having the 44spl thing done... or maybe not...

Supposedly the one I have was stolen from the original owner. The Thief used it in a robbery and then was caught. The gun was returned to the original owner and he cosigned at a local store.

Yep, I love mine! Of course I don't have a belt and holster as awesome as you.

I've got a 5 number SN .41 Mag that my grandpa gave me...

It needs work now, but it's a good shooter when it's running right. I'm about to send it off to Ruger before too long. The ejector housing screw broke off in the barrel and the cylinder endshake is getting bad...

I always thought that the coolest conversion for the Blackhawk was the .22 LR/.22 Mag setup. My Grandpa had one of those too (that I think he gave to my Stepbrother before he died). That one was fun! We used to go shoot frogs with it and my Grandma would cook the legs...

Thank you. The holster is for my 45 and it was not that expensive. I got in in Arizona on my Honeymoon. I still need one for my 357.
