    1911 clone frame. The letters JF followed by numbers. Who is the manufacturer of this?

    Does it have any indication on where it is made? Santa Ana CA, Irwindale, Vermont...

      I will check tonight, but I do not recall any other markings on the frame.

        Possibly Jericho firearms who later became Kimber. But that's just a WAG. Wild a@& guess!

            If it doesn't have a manufacturer location engraved, it could be a finished 80% receiver, or a true built from scratch frame.
            The way some gunshop clerks spout off, you'd think that they invented gunpowder and the repeating rifle, and sat on the Supreme Court as well.
