    Springfield TRP Operator

Any body have a TRP Op with the full dust cover. I'm picking up a new one with the full dust cover and would like some comments on the pistol. Thank you. fresno.

I own two (bought the second after shooting my first one). Its an excellent gun, with good magazines it feeds flawlessly, shoots extremely accurately. The new one with the 3/4th length rail was a mistake in my opinion.

Where'd you score a new one with the full length dust cover?
Lord, make my hand fast and accurate.
Let my aim be true and my hand faster
than those who would seek to destroy me.
Grant me victory over my foes and those who wish to do harm to me and mine.
Let not my last thought be 'If I only had my gun."
And Lord, if today is truly the day you call me home, let me die in an empty pile of brass.

Out of all my guns it is one of my favorites. I just picked a Safariland thigh holster that accepts the M3X.

Herb Bauers had one. I just was at the right place at the right time.

What did you have them do to the trigger and mag well?

I put an S&A arched mag well on mine- fits my hand better. And I hate those locking doohickeys.

I have the regular TRP and love it..

It shoots much better than the Les Baer I used to have and is more reliable.
The LB used to shot two or three rounds at a time. I was kind of fun at first, but soon wore off.

                Rettings has a good selection.

                Hope you like it.

TRP's are great guns. I'm a long time Colt GM fan, but have to admit the TRP rocks!

                    I have no will power

It's all of your fault! I had a TRP Operator, sold it a few years ago. After reading these posts I thought, hmm... maybe I need to think of buying one. Happened by the gun shop today and oh hell, they had a TRP Operator brand new with the full rail. I bought it......... No will power. None..... Nope not me.
