After searching the internet for a drop-in .40 cal barrel for my Sig P226 (.357 Sig) I found a company called EFK Firedragon that makes replacement barrels for all types of pistols, including the .40 I am looking for, for my P226. It runs about $110 at midwesthuntersoutlet.com. This is the cheapest price I have found yet (including used).
Question is, does anyone have a barrel made by this company? Good product? I read that there have been some cases of the barrel not fitting correctly, the barrel needed to be taken to a gunsmith to make it work. I am looking for a "drop-in" .40 barrel to put in my .357 Sig (since the ammo is so expensive). Better to spend the $250 directly from Sig? Thanks in advance.
