Very nice. I"m interested in picking up a Glock 19 someday myself; I have some standard capacity magazines I bought back in 99 just in case...

I'd like to find a nice 2nd generation like yours; finger grooves just never seem to fit my hand properly

I've had a Hogue grip on my 2nd gen 19 also for as long as I've owned it, just not pictured, so I was already used to the grip. I didn't like the feel of the 3rd gen finger grooves at all so adding the Hogue made it a lot more comfortable. Fits my hand perfect.

and thanks for the comments all...

Nice thing is, you have high caps to use in your new glock... Very cool..

I have a question: does your new G19 have a glossy finish (tenifer) on the slide?

I've heard Glock has moved the manufacturing of the slide to the US. Tenifer process is quite "dirty" so the US slides will have something different. I like Tenifer and its glossy feel. Just want to know if you have the new finish and how you like it.

Some people like grip "condoms" and some don't...
if one of the officers in our dept. is having reliability issues and they have a grip "condom" they are ordered to remove it which has, in the past, stopped the problems...
which have mostly to do with the officer not holding the gun firmly enough, add the squishy rubber thingee, and you have issues... as of today only one of our officers has one (out of 135 armed) and he has no gun issues...
