    What's a good .357 with interchangable 9mm/.38 barrel

My friend is looking into a .357, i advised him to get one of those .357 revolvers that have interchangable barrels so that you can shot .38 and 9mm for the range.

He likes the idea of being able to target shoot cheap ammo, then load the .357 magnum loads for SD.

    What do you guys recommend?

You do not need to change barrels, all .357Magnum revolvers can shoot .38Special rounds without any modification.

You could modify the cylinder of a .357Magnum revolver in order to shoot 9x19mm, but then you would not be able to shoot .357Magnum and/or .38Special anymore.

However, if you have a Phillips & Rodgers Model 47 Medusa, you could shoot over 25 different .355 calibered cartridges without any modifications.

P&R Model 47 Medusa (not mine)

There's currently one on gunbroker. But, it's not on the approved list, so good luck trying to get it.

Ruger makes the Blackhawk in 357 with a extra cylinder in 9mm. I have one in a three screw. They also have one in 45 colt and a convertible 45acp cylinder.
