Glock 23 vs 32

I went with a 23 because that is going to be my primary SD round. I feel better shooting out of a factory barrel when my life is on the line. I only use aftermarket barrels for general target shooting and practice so the storm lake 9mm is on my list. The 357 sig is arguably a better SD (or offensive in the case of LEO/Military) round but I have already invested in 40sw with my other guns so thats why I went that route.Last edited by roc; 08-24-2009, 10:20 PM. -
As far as I understand the factory barrels in these calibers are interchangeable.I went with a 23 because that is going to be my primary SD round. yes as far as I know the 23 and the 32 are identical besides the markings on the slide and the barrel that comes with each gun. however I still would not trust a glock 32 barrel inside as glock 23 as much as the glock 23 with its own factory barrel. maybe its just me but I dont want to chance it.Comment

What current calibers do you have? If you already have a .357 sig or .40s&w then get what you have. If not, I would get a .40s&w because the caliber is more popular.
But then again you are talking about buying conversion barrels for each of them to go either caliber. It's basically the same handgun and same size.Originally posted by 69Mach1The virgin requires more work (don't they all

I'd go for the 23. Although Glocks do look cool with ".357" written on the side!Dom

I happen to like both calibers and while the 357 maybe a better SD round, in the case of the SHTF .40 i think will be a better option being that almost all law agencies in the U.S. use that caliber. With that being said it would be rather abundant and be the better option when zombies have wiped out the human population.Comment
