Hellcat Pro with EPS Carry. Mount or no?

    Good day y?all.

Just bought a Holosun eps carry for my Hellcat Pro and I?m debating of either running a DPP mount with no co-witness or filing down the recoil lugs on the slide for a ?direct? fit. The latter option voids warranty but I like the co-witness option.

Any recommendations or experience with either?

    Thanks!

Even if your dot fails you still have the center of the reticle as a point of aim. Not a fan of red dots on carry guns, fun at the range but YMMV.

I agree 100%. This is strictly a fun range weapon. I have 13 on my current CCW so adding isn?t in the cards.

No, never file down recoil lugs on your gun. Get a plate/adapter before doing that. I once filed down my DPP to fit a Gen-1 P320 RXP. It fit, but eventually the optic worked its way loose.

Because of how thick the DPP is, I would not trust there to be a co-witness with irons unless you take calipers and actually measure it.

I used the C&H precision plate for my Hellcat Pro for a low cowitness. The rear site just peaks above the EPS Carry enough to see the front site.

Personally, I'm not a fan of co-witness. As for red dots I do like them at the 15 yd and farther range. Concealed not so much. I do have the Hellcat Pro (off roster) and really like it.
