    P365x micro vs macro

I am in the market for a sig p365. I have seen listings for a micro and a macro. What's the difference?

In short, we we are talking stock Sig:

P365 Micro - that is the OG and what the CA P365 is called.

P365 XL - a bigger grip than Micro and holds 12 rds, but same frame length as Micro. Paired with an XL slide that uses a longer barrel than Micro. Slide is a little longer than the frame, but looks normal.

P365 X - Takes the slide from Micro and combines with XL grip module.

P365 Macro - the latest iteration that has a 17 rd capacity grip so the largest of all variation grips plus a picatinny rail instead of Sig rail. A longer frame that Micro because of the rail. Paired with the XL slide that features a longer barrel compared to Micro. If you try to put a Micro slide on Macro frame, it will technically work, but will have some of the plastic frame extending further than the slide.

      Macro also has thr comp

Personally for me xl slide or shalotek xxlc slide and macro frame chopped to xl length is my sweet spot.

Shoot it like a skinny g19

Bill drill under 3 second from aiwb.np. hitting 2.5X with 0.18 splits also possible

        Base guns are as follows:

        - P365 (including CA model), shortest grip (10 round mag) and slide (3.1" barrel)

        - P365XL slightly longer grip (12 round mag fits flush without the extended basepad), longer slide (3.7" barrel)

        - P365X - grip frame same as P365XL, slide and barrel same as standard P365

        - P365 Macro - longest grip frame (17 round mags fit flush), same slide and barrel length as the P365XL

A big thing people tend to forget is that the Macro frames aren't just longer rails/longer grips; they have true pic rails, and the frames are actually thicker under the trigger guard, so they are more comfortable to shoot.
