Magazine Disconnector removal - Hellcat Pro CA

Nothing really special,

just pop out the pin with your roll pin punch tool, the MD lever & spring will fall out.

the pin can be re-inserted back to the frame, it has nothing to do with the trigger move, I put it back just to fill the hole on the frame.

Edit: Just figured out how to remove MDM on XD Elite. It's easy, remove the blooking block, 1/16 roll-pin punch, punch out the MDM watch out for the tiny spring.

I believe they both have very similar or even the same MD mechanism, doesn't need special attention.

Basically quite some of those pistols with MDM are just a C or L shape lever with a coil spring that stays behind the trigger inside the frame to block the trigger movement; you insert the mag, the lever moves away, then trigger can be pulled(move freely).

quite like on roster Sig Sauer CA pistols such as P226/229/238...etc.

To be honest, I knew how to remove the MD of the Hellcat CA/Hellcat Pro CA when I saw the pictures only back in Nov-2023, like what I said, they most have very similar mechanical design, nothing special.

I'm fine with the Hellca CA/Hellcat Pro CA's LCI; to me, it looks way OK than the M&P shield 1.0's LCI.

The "LOADED WHEN" are etched on the barrel, "UP" is etched on the LCI lever.

just little sad that HS produkt didn't copy what Sig Sauer did on M18 P320CA & P365CA("LOADED WHEN UP" marked on the optic plate instead of slide or barrel)

To make it like all other non-CA Hellcat/Hellcat Pro, new non-CA slide & barrel are needed, that will cost too much for me(or say, I don't want to spend money for that).

Don't like the "LOADED WHEN UP" texts? scratch and re-bule it may make it less visible.

this ^^^ wonder how it looks like without the LCI lever.

I really don't mine the LCI lever, it's nice to be able to check if your have one in the chamber when it's dark.
Wish they aligned the LCI lever with the sights though or made it a little more low profile.
