It seems like none of the X models have a manual safety. Is this because the grip module is too fat? Which means I couldn't buy the safety and add it on.

Thanks everyone. This settled it for me. I ordered a 507k this morning and will look for the older style slide to replace mine. Once it's all here, I'll put it together and spend some time testing it out, and then sell the old slide. I'll let it go for a good price if anyone is looking!

P5, I'm going to go with just the grip frame I have for now, but will probably grab an XL to test out in the future also, as well as the flat trigger. Thanks!

I don't know much, if anything about the P365 series, but I'd likely start with SIGTalk, referenced above, if the OP hasn't already done so.

Good luck and perhaps let us see what changes are eventually done

Do you mean XMacro? My X is with manual safety, use the same XL grip with extra cut out.

It came from SIG like that? I haven't been able to find any like that, even on SIG's website. I can't even find the X grip module with a cutout for the safety on SIG's website.

What I really want is a Spectre Comp with a manual safety.

Yep, it came with MS from sig and I have label from Sig on box stating that.

I think he means complete guns.

Thanks! I never could find them by starting at the top and navigating down the tree, which means crappy website design. Much better to search.

Doesn't matter that much, if I can assemble what I want from parts. Since I'm destructive with tools in my hand, like a Force 5 hurricane, it would be better to find a complete gun though.

I'm apparently unique in that I don't like the X guns. I don't like the grip, I don't like the trigger. Now that I think about it, I'm probably better off with a standard model with manual safety and a Spectre Comp slide.

Does sig offer an orange front sight? I have the 3 dot tritiums my 365 came with but I really really really like the trijicon hd with the orange dot up front. Way faster getting on target with a big bright orange front sight

Thanks for the help everyone! I had ordered the Holosun from Brownells and they didn't ship it for a couple of weeks then it got lost in the mail, but it finally came in. I grabbed a slide off Ebay and shot a couple hundred rounds through it this weekend. Shoots great and I love it. I'll probably keep the standard grip frame, with 12 round mag length as it feels good and carries well.
