    P320X FULL SIZE.

With P320 ( M18) now being readily available in California and new guns are routinely sold between 700-800, what would be a fair price to pay for a used , off roster P320 XFULL?This W320F-9-BXR3-LDC-PRO

      Off roster FCU worth about $600 + X full kit $350-$400 = $950-$1000 as a starting price.

Thanks, yeah I always allow for a little negotiation. Better to start a little high than too low.

Just noticed OP is in SFBA, might need to add an extra $100 premium to the FCU so $1050-$1100. The parts kit can be bought online for probably as low as $350 on sale assuming you really want the X-full and not an X5, X-carry or other kit. So really just comes down to the cost of the FCU and how many mags are included.

Personally, they are going to have to come down in price to make me buy an X-full, as I have no interest in that length slide. I'd rather just go X5 length with full length dustcover. Or M17.

Planning on changing my M18 to 5" for steel challenge/USPSA. Not worth the money to go for 5" instead of the 4.7"?

                  No.

I shoot faster with a g19 with a dot than I do with a x5 without. If you looking for extra weight beyond putting a x300 or the like on it spend the $70 on a Wilson combat frame and find the weights for it and spend the leftover money on ammo.
.3 inch slide difference isn?t likely to change edge strikes into square face hits, at least as my skill level. 147 grain is really good for the poppers and less then ideal strikes too. But that?s all just my opinion at my less then optimal skill level and is worth about as much as you paid for it.

Current plan is to go open sights until I decide on spending the money for a dot. USPSA appears to allow the tungsten grips without a magwell, not sure for steel. I have a local range that offers both. Shot USPSA about 6 years ago with a SP01, then 34 and 17, thought I would try steel first. Just trying to figure out if I should just start with the M18 or spend a few $ and upgrade. I purchased a second M18 strickly for competition.

Of course, I would not buy any pistol ( modular or not) in a configuration that I don't like. To make it simpler, is regular M18 more desirable than a CA M18?

I have a medium grip frame. I think the dh3 is the small. I might be inclined to run a small but, I wouldn?t change anything else if I was running production aside from taking off the magwell. But I haven?t shot uspsa yet. Contemplating getting a rmr plate, I can mount a rmr pattern dot with the stock holes but no lugs seems like a bad idea.

I don't know if there are barrel length rules but I'd go X5 over 4.7". Don't see any purpose to 4.7". I have an X5 with the bull barrel that is super accurate, and a 3.9" compact/carry. I also have a 3.6" xcarry/subcompact. Honestly, I shoot the 3.6" just as accurately as the X5.

M18 is 3.9" (compact/carry) length. The M17 is 4.7". You should just stick with the M18. I don't think you are going to see a difference with a longer barrel, especially if you put a red dot on it.

That is subjective. If I didn't already have an M17/M18, I'd just go and buy the on-roster version rather than pay someone a premium for the off roster.

But I do believe and off roster FCU is going to be worth more than an on roster FCU. But not by much. Definitely not more than a complete on roster M18 with the 3 mags. For me, an off roster FCU is worth around $600.
