    P365 Trigger: CA vs. non-CA

Has anyone tried both the CA and non-CA versions of the P365? Wondering how the trigger weight and feel compare?

I've tried the CA version in several LGSs, and it feels gritty to me.

One of the first pistol classes I ever took had a focus on rapid fire, transitioning between targets and movement. They discussed that people obsessed over irrelevant details about triggers that don’t matter when you are shooting rapidly and moving whether for competitive or tactical reasons . If you are shooting 10 rounds in 5 seconds or less , the trigger is the last thing that matters. Your grip, stance , body mechanics and sight alignment are way more important. Your mind can not register the wall, take up etc. it’s too fast.

My P-01 which is easy to conceal and shoots very flat had a gritty trigger with a noticeable click at half cock . 10k plus rounds later , that’s long gone .

I’ve got 2000 rounds or so through my P365 XL and could not tell you anything about the trigger. In order to get controlled pairs , rapid firing and shooting while moving , I’m holding on for dear life trying to control the muzzle rise and keep the sight on target. How good or bad the trigger is , is not even a consideration for controlling the gun and shooting it accurately training for defensive situations.

Try running from one target to another while changing mags, the trigger will be the last of your concerns .

It’s a cool gun , but you need a grip of steel.

So true! So many gun videos today stress the importance of a very short trigger reset, like a Canik. Well for me personally that has never made a difference in my speed. I have owned 3 Glocks, and 2 XD's for over 20 years. The Glocks have a much shorter reset travel, but I shoot the Springfield XD's just as fast as my Glocks. Like you said so much better than me, they are irrelevant details, as it more about you, than the trigger.

              Well said.

To the OP. Just pull the dam trigger and release it. You won't notice a gridy trigger in a gun fight nor will you notice your ear getting clogged.

Sakjitsu, thank you for actually answering the question that was asked ? before others veered off with unsolicited advice about action shooting, gunfights, etc.

None of that was the focus, context or motivation for the question.

Same crappy trigger, put a flat trigger in it if your IA allows mods.

How fast are you talking with what accuracy and what distance?
