What type of rail is on my SIG? Got a NcStar Light/Laser

and i can't use it on the gun i want.

Its a "NcStar" i got from AmmoBro's and i bought it for my M&P Sub Compact and its too long and wont attatch on the rail in the slot...

SO i figure i'll use it on my favorite handgun, my Sig Pro 2340... well that rail is different

My Ruger doesn't have the right rail either, and overall it only fits on my Glock 30.

Oh well... Live and learn, i thought it was all the same... my mistake...

Never heard of this brand. How much is it if you don't mind my asking.

I just got it today so i haven't shot with it yet but it seems sturdy enough... Fully adjustable and the set screws are very tight to adjust (good thing)..

The laser is crisp and perfectly round and sharp and the light is crazy bright (120 lumens)

THere is a 3 position switch in the back to allow you to use the main switch solid on or toggle and you can run laser only, Light only, or Both at the same time.

I got it at Ammo Bro's for $99. I have a TLR-2 and that was $300 at the time i bought it from Brownells and id have to say this feels more solid..... i know someone is gonna jump on me for that remark. But honestly it does... now i'll see if you get what you pay for after i fire off a few hundred rounds and see if it holds zero.

But other than it not fitting the sub compact it feels like a fantastic bang for the buck.

I'll be shooting it tomorrow and i'll make sure to put at least 200rds down range for research purposes

I will keep anyone interested updated. THey had a Light only one too that i almost bought that was only $30!!!!!.. the light alone is a great deal, we'll see if the dot holds true.

i'll be looking for the combo. i'll be using the Glock 29 while i'm backpacking. having the lite and laser combo would be ideal for me.

I'd like to know how it holds up. I just got a TLR-2 C4, and if this can fit on my 226 and can compare, I may have to pick it up!

I remember the old Sig Pro 2009 and 2340 had a old and funky rail that needed a special adapter and even then only a small number would work.
