Walther PDP Trigger

While there are a few schools of thought out there - allowing the trigger to push out does not maximize performance, ie., inefficient trigger control, that can actually degrade speed and accuracy.

For a Glock OEM trigger - ideally, you shouldn't be feeling the trigger pushing out. By the time the gun returns from recoil, the trigger has already been prepped and ready to fire (again, the instant the gun "returns" from recoil).

I was just making a point in the way I shoot; I much prefer the stronger Glock gen 3 trigger reset over the weaker Walther PDP trigger reset. I am fine with the way I shoot and am going to continue that way. At 68 years of age, I don't see any reason to change to your way of shooting, as I'm very happy with my speed and accuracy.

I have a PDP I use for USPSA shooting. I put the Dynamic Performance Trigger (DPT) trigger in and I really like it. Having said that if its a plinking/range toy and not used for competition I would not replace the trigger. The standard trigger is pretty good!!

I guess the big question is what are your plans with the Walther?

And I was simply saying something to think about in terms of performance improvement. If you think that there is nothing more to improve at 68 and/or you are happy with your speed and accuracy - who am I to argue?
