    OG's and their safety rules...How 1980s.

Mr. Randall R. will dispense with solid advice that comes from technical applied knowledge and personal experience.
But has for me...I might recommend a good surgeon including ophthalmologist.

Lol. Yes do it! Maybe you can come up with a better more economic way to do the conversion?
Btw, Jarvis mentioned the non ramped barrel is fine. No warning given about running hot loads either.

How expensive is the finish ream tool compared to the jarvis barrel?

          Also congrats RED9 on conversion

The 10MM Auto / 40 Smith & Wesson (S&W) share a chamber reamer, but use DIFFERENT headspace gauges.

If you are going to run a chamber reamer into a barrel, you will want headspace gauges too.

Headspace gauges are to check that you are within the normally accepted limits for the chamber length.

Just DROS'ed mine. I didn't know there was a double stack 1911 on the roster and neither did my FFL. He wound up ordering two to keep one "in stock".
Don't think I'll convert it to 10mm though. May just keep it stock or convert to 9mm.

You'll need the ejector on the frame replaced. Easy peasy. And a slide.
Ran the a2 today and it's a laser. A bit stout but it's a 10. Definitely loud[emoji846] and those blue dot flames.
You'll be happy stock. It's so heavy that shooting 45s is like shooting 9s. As for a 1911 in 9mm? It's ok. Rather boring and sounds like bunny farts[emoji16]
