    Sig M18/320 w/Romeo 1Pro Dot - First shots

I picked up my M18 from Turners Rosevile on the 13th (great LGS, by the way - always helpful, efficient and super polite) but with the start of deer season and an out-of State trip, today was my first chance to shoot it.

I had mounted the Sig Romeo 1Pro (one of the 2 dots it can accommodate) and it went on fairly easily (thanks to YouTube videos!!)

I hate the mag disconnect - the mounting plate for the dot pretty much negates the LCI.

Sight adjustment was straightforward using the supplied tool from Sig.

Gun groups tight, trigger is VERY nice for a striker fire gun.

This is my setup and the last 30 rounds at 21 feet. About 2 seconds a shot - faster when the dot lined up nice.

    VERY pleased with my purchase.

Mag disconnect is just one screw, very easy to remove. Check this thread for the details.

Anyone know which front sight will line up with the notch on the back of the Romeo 1 pro? Just ordered mine as well OP. I went with the 3moa. Nice shooting by the way. Can?t wait to take mine out this weekend.

Good shooting. I am capable of similar groups with my xcarry rx. Really push yourself because with enough time behind the dot, you can have sub second splits in no time.

If you have not done so already, be sure to loctite those screws down.

Having the MDM on this gun makes it less safe, not more safe. The idea that someone has to have a magazine inserted to dryfire the gun/drop the striker increases the chances of an ND. Definitely remove it.
