    Bought ANOTHER Colt Snub

can't help it, but the Colt boys warned me it would be this way

Completed the triumvirate last night and bought a nice Cobra.

Trigger job, hammer bob, and grips next.

    Pics from the ad

Looks to be low mileage from the pics. We'll soon see.

    That pony is SA-WEET!

Nice find; I would love to have a Colt snubbie like that... maybe someday.

Nice snag! What are you gonna swap the Herrett's out for?

              Not sure yet.

Since it'll be a carry piece I might go with a smaller grip and Tyler T grip adapter ala my Agent

              or swap the Jim Badger's

black micarta boot grips might work (these are a tad too long at the butt)

The Jim Badger boot grips look pretty sweet. How is it when your hands get alittle sweaty?

I have a 50's Cobra - I like the original grips and the Pachmayer version of the Tyler. Numrich carries them for about $6.00.

I kind of go back & forth on the newer DS, Cobra - I kind of like the styling but I lean towards the older version when the opportunity comes up.

Believe it or not, the finish Jim puts on the grips isn't as slick as it appears. Sweaty hands kind of feel sticky on them.

And the finger grooves are so pronounced they make for a super secure grip even with sweaty hands.

And here in the swamps that's how things are even with the indoor ranges.
