Do you own a pistol and centerfire rifle?

When I first got into firearms, I was obsessed with 1911's and would spend most of my time in the pistol forums on here and THR. I eventually got turned on to rifles. At that point I had two pistols and a shotgun... and was close to making another 1911 purchase! Since, I've picked up a few rifles of different variety and I haven't looked back.. or looked any pistol forum since!

Just wanted to put this poll up to see if anyone is stuck on pistols w/o owning any rifles.

I own some of everything. Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun, Black Powder. The collection needs to be diverse. It's almost time for a new safe though.

I too started with pistols. It was only a matter of time before I got infected with the Black Rifle Disease. There is no know cure, it can only be treated with lots of ammo and range time.

I just bought my first rifle this month.

Have two centerfire pistols and a 12 ga., no centerfire rifle YET... want to put an AR15 together over some time...

I've owned way more rifles than handguns, and that was because of the price and that I enjoy shooting rifles more.

Now I have two handguns and no rifles. I've been wanting to build a carbine (AR-15) but that damn Mosin keeps calling me.

I own a .357, .44 mag, 45 colt pistols. So, it only made sense that I get lever rifles in the same calibers! hahahahahaha

I started with rifles. It was very easy for me, so I got into handguns. It was a good challenge for me to switch. I love shooting all though!

Yes.....For my first two firearms I started with a Sigma, then went with an AK.

The opposite was true for me. I loved rifles much more then handguns, but now I am much more into handguns and IPSC.

I started out at 20 getting really into rifle shooting. When I turned 21 and bought my P226, I started to really enjoy the unique challenge of pistol shooting, so I started saving up and buying more.

Next I have to get into shotgun shooting...

I'm really more of a hand gun guy and have a modest little collection of them. Also the only long gun I have at the moment is chambered in a hand gun round.

Then again, I think my next purchase will most likely be an AR, but I might get it in a 9mm. LOL
