M18, getting the call?

I?m trying the bobroe mount and an RMR. Got the recommendation from a friend running a 320 and it looked decent. Kinda wish it can with a front sight also but oh well.

If you buy the trijicon optic plate (601125 I believe) it comes with the correct height front sight. That?s what I went with. Paid a little more since they?re tritium sights which I don?t really care for but liked it it included everything.

The new Romeo X has an included integral rear sight, and mounts low enough to use the stock front sight. I have one on order. I'll post pics once it (and my M18) are in hand.

You have it on order or on "backorder"? There are none to be had right now and lead times are 2-3 months. I spent the weekend looking for one (DPP footprint).

Yeah I just found a suppressor sight on Midway- between those and the bobro its probably close to the Trijicon. All told I think I?ll have a good amount more in the RMR et al than the gun itself. Fortunately I already have holsters lol.

And the (my) eagle landed today at high noon.

Now sitting in gun jail for 10-days +2 minutes, then I'll go bail her out. Got a Sig Romeo X coming, Safariland retention holster and Streamlight TLR-7 sitting here waiting. Give me time to watch the great YT vids on the mechanics of it.

I have another on order that's in the queue for late October arrival. If someone is interested in that PM me and I'll see if that FFL will let me assign it. I don't know how interested they'll be v. they just moving everyone else up a notch. In any case, I'll be canceling that order as soon as I pick this one up if nobody wants it.

Picked mine up today! Pretty pumped. Running a Wilson combat frame with a streamlight tlr1hl. Feels great. Kinda a PITA as far as takedown. The FCU for CA comes out different than all the other models so you have to depress the magazine disconnect to be able to push the trigger back further to release it. Took a while to figure that out and the takedown pin is stiff to get back in. But overall a sweet gun.

CA320 is a better deal. Upgraded trigger pack, nite sights, no annoying MDM, < $750.

Just take the MDM out.
One screw and its back to normal.
And yes when nre the FCU can be a little snug in the grip but thats good.

Not if you want to CCW it. Many agencies won?t allow it.

But if I want a parts gun for a X5 legion build I’d consider starting with one of those.

Sure, if there are any for sale at regular used gun prices. You can't buy a gun for a specific price if no one is willing to sell you a gun at that price. Duh.
