If you have a replacement trigger, this is a perfect time
to swap it out, I wanted the skeletonized flat from Sig Sauer.

Took her for a shakedown and ran flawlessly.

Below is the first 6 magazines (2 each per target)

The X-compact is the one sized for 15 rd magazines and can also accept the 3.6" slide, right?

That is correct. Can accept the 10/17s that come with the M18 with a small gap and and 10/21s with a bigger gap but still manageable.

FINALLY got to pick mine up after a very lengthy wait.

I know people tend not to like the grip on the m18 but gosh, I think it doesn't feel bad in the hands, especially compared to something like a glock.

Still probably gonna switch out the grip though.

I think most of the complaints came from free states where people are used to choices. I didn?t think mine was bad either minus the weak texture. However the Wilson is several steps better.

And the x5 kit is fantastic.

True that, our options are pretty limited. Still, I expected to hate the grip but surprised I kind of like the stock grip. What does the x5 kit include?

I was thinking of going with the AXG grip, I like the feeling of metal in my hand

The x5 kit includes everything to make a x5 legion. 5” barrel, lightened slide, weighted mag well, tungsten frame.

Had mine ten days with about 250 or so down the pipe, no issues. Already qualified it for my CCW and it has been added/new paper and card- all in hand.

                    Coming soon;
                    - Expecting the new Sig Romeo X Pro in 10 days.
Sig hasn't released them yet, but if interested they are taking orders for them (finally) as of 10/12
                    - Ordered a Wilson Combat P320/M18 X5 Carry grip
                    - Springer magwell for that grip

Be very cautious when ordering parts- while mostly plug and play, not every Tab A fits Slot B. The FCU remains constant of course, but with rare exception you'll need to dump the stock grip and get something in X5 (or other, greater) version for bolting add ons. And no, the stock grip and the X5 won't accept AXG accessories.*

*except on odd numbered Tuesdays, wind from the south and its over 82 degrees

Fyi. Had 3 stovepipes in 100 rds Winchester whitebox first time shooting after cleaning. Cleaned again. Went back to the range today, shot 30 Gold Dots, 50 Lawman, and 50 WWB. no further problems. So, WWB was probably the problem with a newer spring.

For lack of a better term, it's common knowledge about 300 down the pipe to break things in. If not, do 500 to make sure or just because its fun.

I’ve had a few issues before plinking with WWB.

Got a question… how can this M18 P320 9mm platform go into a 40SW platform? Is it just the barrel needed or a whole complete slide?

Complete slide due to the weight differences in the slide

One thing is for sure, I shoot this pistol better than any other I've owned.
