Bisley vs plow Ruger

Medium man hands, pinky always left off the plow grip (uncomfortably) would the Bisley grip help for a full handhold or is it still to short?

Bisley grips - at least on Ruger SBHs - are better for those big hefty
calibers. Seems to push back more than try to rotate in your hands...

Now, for a smaller-framed SAA-sized gun - like a Ruger New Vaquero or
50th Anniv Blackhawk Flattop .357 - the regular 'plow' grip is just fine
and is in fact my preference for the smaller gun.

Bisley is a much better grip for me.
Different recoil impulse, plow handle is supposed so rotate and the Bisley pushes straight back.

To answer your question, yes, Bisley allows for full grip (at least for my med-lrg hands)

Same as above.
Bisley is great for Magnum cartridges, much better control and recoil impulse. I am also not a fan of plow grip, it does not feel good in my hand, on the other hand, Bisley fit is just fine.

While everyone likes the look of the plow SAA grip, I too find my large hands leave my pinky finger dangling below the bottom of the grip. The Bisley grip on the other hand, allows for all fingers to fit on the grip---a similar situation for the Bisley style grip on the big Freedom Arms 454 Casull revolvers---I wouldn't want to try one of those with the old Colt SAA type grip!

Bisley all the way. The Freedom Arms grip is very close to the same shape of the Ruger Bisely.

I prefer the Bisley grip, especially for magnum class revolvers. I changed my .357 Maximum over to a Bisley grip frame 30 years ago and I still love it.
