I did some research and couldnt find an answer in any old threads, seeing if someone maybe be able to help me troubleshoot. I have a 43x and I just purchased a 48 mos slide, its brand new and has never been fired. I put it on today at the range and the trigger pull felt a lot heavier than with the 43x slide. Before I went to the range I applied CLP and cleaned it. When I rack the gun without a magazine it feels a little smoother on the rack and not as heavy on the trigger pull. It could be in my mind. I know with CZ the frames and slides are milled for each other, is that the same with Glock? I thought the advantage was they are interchangeable . So I suppose just seeing if someone has some recommendations for some changes I can make next time out to start checking off the issues it may be. I have not used a trigger pull gauge but my feeling is it is about 5 lbs heavier than with the 43x. Apologies if this is a redundant thread just look for some insight. Thanks!

Put the striker assembly from the 43X into the 48 slide and test trigger feel again.
It could be a heavier spring (luck of draw) or just newer spring and that makes it feel heavier. But it should not feel 5lb heavier.
Anyhow swapping striker assemblies will tell you a bit, and also give you a chance to get a look at the assembly and the striker channel in the G 48 to make sure nothing is amiss.Last edited by SkyHawk; 07-23-2023, 3:59 PM.
