px4 questions

ok I'm looking in to buying a px4 in 9mm and a 92fs. the 92fs only becuase I used it in the Marines and was pretty good with it but mainly because I have a bunch of hi caps for it. but I want to know if the px4 is a good pistol and how durable it is. I've held one once and it was super light but never shot one. I'd buy it in .45 but for some reason the don't sell it in .45 at least the list doesn't show it. how does the px4 compare to the xd or block in similar cal.

I have it in .40 S&W. I definitely enjoy shooting the gun.

It's easy to shoot, easy to handle and easy to clean. The single biggest issue with the gun is the crappy trigger. It's rough and needs a trigger job out of the box.

Unfortunately, the only other .40 I have to compare it to is an HK. And I like the PX4 better.

Also, just in case there was any confusion, you cannot use 92fs magazines in the Px4. You have to use Px4 magazines.

yeah I called beretta and found that out. so I'm going to get a 92fs to use my hicaps. I figured I'd get the px4 in 9mm also so I only have to buy one ammo type and I'd use the px4 as my carry but I just wished they released the .45 here

how are the px4's compared to a glock or a xd

My PX4 in .40 is a bit bigger than my Glock 19. I'd say the PX4 is a bit more accurate.

It can be a bit top heavy, which is what XD's look like to me. Unlike the XD, it's a DA/SA with a manual safety.

They're rugged, but I'm not sure if they're as rugged as a Glock.
