    Glock 19 in .45ACP?

Is there a Glock 19 chambered in .45ACP? I've recently shot the glock 19 and the grip was perfect for my hands. However, I want it in .45ACP. Do they make a glock with the exact same grip profile as the 19 but chambered in .45ACP?

I think its a Glock 21, but one of the Glock lovers will be along shortly and will probably steer you in the right direction.

      No.

The closest you'll get is the Glock 38 in .45 GAP.

Glock 21 is the same as the 17 in size, I think you would actually have to go with the 23 in .40 or 38 in .45 GAP to get the size of a 19.

I didnt realize there was a difference in the grip characteristics between the full size and medium size frames. I thought it was merely a little bit shorter.

To expand on his answer, the Glocks in .45 ACP are wider in the grips than the 9mm models, like the G19. Also, Glock does not make a "compact" .45 ACP, but only a full-size G21 (akin to G17) and the sub-compact G30 (akin to G26).

            From the Glock website:

            The G19 has a width of 30mm.
            The G21 (.45 ACP) has a width of 32.5mm.
            The G38 (.45 GAP) has a width of 30mm.

Yeah the G38 is as close as you wil get. Even then it's in .45GAP and not ACP.

GAP is a weak round IMHO.

G30 is roughly the same size as the G29 which is a subcompact. G36 I guess is a super subcompact? The G36 is single stack 6 rounds so that would make the grip thinner than the G30 which you noted. Also the G30 holds 10 rounds? I believe I can be wrong since I am just assuming based on a G29.

G30 it 10+1 but can use G21 13rn magz (in the free states)

Glock 30SF might be closer, haven't handled it side by side with a 19. nothing will be exactly like a 19 except for the 23 and the .357 sig on the same frame.

I have a G21SF and have small hands I love it. I dont know how it compares to other glocks but it feels good in my hands.

Look guys, the G30 is a standard subcompact, the G36 is slightly thinner in the grip, same everywhere else - still a subcompact. As stated before, the G38 in .45GAP is really the closest option, second would be the G23 which is .40 S&W.

Well, .45GAP out performs .45ACP in 185 and 200 grain loads and equals it with 230 grain loads. All in a smaller package with the same capacity. Plus, the ammo is readily available right now. I can get a case of 1000 Speer GDHP for $372.

                              You are wrong, IMHO.
