Armscor 1911

A friend of mine is willing to sell his Armscor 1911 to me for $300. I havent heard too much of Armscor except they are made in the Phillipines and do work for RIA and STI. Anyone know what they are worth and if they are any good. Here are some pics of the pistol.

also, its gonna be the 1911 or a Springfield XD .40. the xd is going for 450 brand new from a shop. the 1911 is 300 plus the ppt fee and all the other fees.

Shoot it first and make sure it operates correctly. If I'd the chance to do that, I wouldn't have bought my RIA Tactical.
