Glock 22 Gen 4 slide with optics cut.

Does anyone know where to buy a Glock 22 Gen 4 compatible slide that has an optics cut?

I want to keep the original slide the way it is so I don?t want to get it cut.

I?ve been looking around and all I?ve been finding is Gen 3 slides or Glock 17 slides, and a used Gen 4 slide on Gun Broker is almost as much as I could buy an entire Gen 3 gun for. Not worth it to buy and send in somewhere.

I?m only finding two factory Gen 4 slides on Gun Broker right now. One is almost $400 and the other is $200 as of now. Glock 17 slides won?t work as the barrel on the 22 is thicker. I would then have to send them to someone to be cut.

I was hoping to find a cheaper aftermarket slide that is already cut.

I know Strike Industries makes an adapter to put a Gen 3 slide on a Gen 4/5 frame, but I can?t find any reviews saying it?s reliable.

That?s a Gen 3 slide. I need a Gen 4 slide as I don?t want to use that Strike Industries adapter.

Definitely not what I?d consider cheap, but may be cheaper than buying a factory slide and having it milled/refinished..

Las Vegas made precision machined aftermarket parts for Glock, Sig P320, Sig P365, and CZ P10 firearms.

Keep searching auction sites for Glock 22Gen4 MOS slide or standard Glock 22Gen4 slide and pay to have it cut for optics.

I do not know of any aftermarket vendor that makes/sells standard frame size (17/22/24/31/34/35/37, 19/23/25/32/38, 26/27/28/29/33/39) Gen4 slides.

Standard frame sized Gen 4 Glocks are currently special order only and slated to be discontinued and replaced by Gen 5 Glocks.
Large frame sized (20/21/40/41, 29/30) Gen 4 Glocks are still in production, but are projected to be discontinued and replaced with Gen 5 Glocks once the compact sized (29/30) Gen 5 Glocks are released.

Thanks. That's the first place I've seen that makes Gen 4 slides. It will still be cheaper than buying an OEM slide and sending it out to get cut.

I've been hoping Apex or Numrich would get some used ones from police guns that have been taken out of service, but no luck yet.

I was even considering selling the Gen 4 and buying a Gen 3 so I could modify it.

I found Glock OEM MOS slides for my Gen4 G20 and G35 on eBay and got lucky on pricing. They were brand-new take-offs with the MOS plates/screws still factory sealed.

It took a while, but they're out there.

And selling for a Gen3 is an idea...as you know, there's an infinite amount of aftermarket parts for Gen3.

You will never, in your life, have a chance like this again.
If I were you, I would not pass this up. I would not let this go by...this is rare.

I agree with joefrank, kind of. I would just buy the gen3 and do what u want to it. i disagree with the selling the gen4 part.
