    1000 yards glock with scope?

Is it possible to consistantly hit a target 1000 yards away with a glock 34 5th gen and scope, 9mm. Maybe a bipod also. Working on a silly glock project

      Depends on size of target
Jerry did it offhand holding like 50 feet high

With a 9mm revolver. Can be done if you understand ballistics and windage on a reasonable target. Offhand maybe 0.1% of the population will be able to do it

          I've taken shots at 600 yards (18"x24" steel) with a G26 offhand.

As already stayed there's a tremendous bullet drop, wind can be a factor for sure but the drop is more impactful. I'd imagine adding another 400 yards you'd be aiming 50 feet over the target.Maybe more, give it a go.

Jerry Miculek made a video a few years back popping a balloon at 1000 yards using one of his revolvers- free standing shot. But that guy is crazy good….

Figure out how you will verify if you hit the target.
See what groups you get at 100yds to get an idea of accuracy at longer distances. Accuracy degrades exponentially with distance, and a pistol cartridge makes things worse.

This seems like making a basketball shot cross court, yes it can be done, but even pros need a large number of tries. Less skilled people will need more tries

                To what end?

At that range, a 9mm projectile would be more like lobbing a football than shooting a bullet. I hit my 10" gong at 300 yards once with my Smith & Wesson 625, which is .45 ACP. It felt like I held over at least 10-20' and it obviously was pure luck I hit it, I just aimed at the target, then elevated the muzzle way up in the air, far over the target. At 1,000 yards, the holdover would be ridiculous.

Sure it can. But it needs a special scope to make it work. I just so happen to have a scope like this. Top secret military DARPA scope, designed for this exact purpose. I am willing to part with it for the right price.

                        First. Welcome to Cal Guns?

Not sure 9MM will have any stopping power at 1000 yards.

Years ago I got a wild hair to scope a Glock 20 (10MM and very fast 9X25 Dillon)

I had an extended barrel and I just wanted something to hit and kill at 150 yards, like a carbine pistol in a backpack. With the 9X25 and free standing with my poor eyesight I could punch several holes in a paper plate at 140 yards.
                        It was fun.

Didn't he use a back drop stop plate so the splatter would pop the balloon, yea, yea, he still hit the stop plate.

Honestly waste of money if you ask me, even if it is silly.
There's a reason why firearms that CAN shoot 1000 yds consistently are as big as they are.
