P365 Macro Backstrap Bill Drill Shootoff

Yesterday I received the following Macro Backstraps:

    Boresight Razorback Large
    Fedzwerkz 1
    Fedzwerkz 2
    Fedzwerkz 3

A clean bill drill (All Alphas) for me with a large macro backstrap is around 3 seconds from AIWB concealment hands at interview position.

Decided to run the each backstrap through one bill drill and then shoot 3 more with the best 2 Best 2/3 counted for the finals Having medium ish hands I thought I would like FW1 the most. Live fire proved me wrong

Pics of all the backstraps: OEM Large, Boresight Razorback large, FW1, FW2, FW3

Personally feel the boresight is more consistent and feels more effortless to shoot for me. I can be a little sloppier with support hand (my weakness and get good hits). But FW3 is great for 40% the price

Really good times, especially for a subcompact/slimframe gun.

Don’t Shoot a 365, but the second one looks like it would fit me good.
Im a warmonger baby, I got blood in my eyes and I'm looking at you.

Thanks brother. The 2nd one is the boresight. I love it.

Gets me very close to g19 times. Fastest I have been able to split a g19 was 0.13 (with a good hit). Fast for a g19 for me is 0.15 to 0.16. Standard 0.18 to .21 (prob worse now as I haven't shot a g19 in 2 years now)

I’m at 2.6-2.7 with a G17 from a retention holster at 3:30, a little slower with a 19 and pushing 3 with a G48 using iron sights. Your 2.51 with a slimline is pretty darn impressive.

The boresight sure looks like a winner.

The only center fire Sig I have is an M17, last week I ran drills with it and it was not good. I don’t shoot it too often, also from a retention holster at 3:30. My time on this run was in the 3.40 second, didn’t keep track of my splits but again not good. You can see where I started to try and speed up my splits and started walking it left.

I am not even sure I can draw properly from a retention holster lol

              Those are still great times

                I dislike the p320 series. If the p365 didn't exist I would still be g19 24/7

To be honest 4 seconds or better clean on demand puts you probably in top 20% of all gun owners.

That’s good to know, you should see me with a G44 or a TX-22. With the rimfire’s I’m world class ha ha. But then I go to the center fires and I quickly realize no I’m not.

I need to get a .22lr pistol and try this lol

For me draw speed needs to be better. If I cna shave 1.5 to 1, I can do consistent 2 second bills lol

My favorite drill.and I shoot it each range session to start. Trying to consistently get 2 (no practice draw no warmup)

I also suck with rifles. It is easier for me to hit unsupported at 100 with a red dot pistol than an ar15 lol

They are a blast and you can literally shoot 1000 rounds a range session with them and not go broke.

My 44 has been fantastic got over 6100 rounds through it, it just like shooting a 19 except for no recoil. I?ve shot Larry Vickers test drill with it in well under 7 seconds, they are so easy to shoot well in action/speed type shooting drills and you get lots of trigger time in.

I like that cold drill, gonna give it a shot, I shot the LV test often and have a good supply of B8 targets.

                            Maybe a p322

I think the P322 is a little bigger then a 365 but the fit and feel should be close.

There are a lot of really good 22lr handguns that are very close to the center fire guns now. Glock, Sig, M&P, Walther even a M9 Beretta rimfire. Unfortunately many are not on Calif roster, but if you can get the one that resembles your carry/duty/SD gun it allows you to get a crap load of trigger time in.
