Glock 48 extended ported barrel?

Want some feedback and ideas- Im thinking of getting a ported barrel for my Glock 48. Im want to try out to see if a ported barrel can really help reduce muzzle flip. Im fine with the current recoil and muzzle flip right now without one. The barrel is in the below link. This pistol is primarily a home defense gun. I want to get a mini comp, but thats impossible in Cali because we cant get threaded barrels. The Radian Arms one is legal because no threaded barrel attachment needed, but its only made for the G19 so far

For a couple bucks more Magnaport will do thr barrel and slide. Takes about 10 days. I got one on my g48.

My advice for HD is don?t do it. It will help with muzzle flip, but it will also be louder as sound is projected up rather than mostly forward.

If you?re happy with what you got, go put more rounds through or take some CQB style classes.
