    Revolver with red dot sight?

Any current roster revolvers that are easily mated with a red dot optic? Has anyone modified their revolver to accept one?

I'm thinking .357Mag or 38 Special calibers since I can already reload for it. TIA

There are plenty of red dots to choose from out there.
Normally the factory rear sight and ramp must be removed and if the revolver is 'young' enough, it will have tapped holes beneath (if older, it'll need tapping). You'll just need to find a Pic rail that has the same curve/arc as the top of your revolver and use a buffer such as electrical tape, or similar, underneath.
Once you use a dot for a sight, you won't go back to open sights. It's like cheating.

S&W M&P R8 .357 5" 8rd comes with a pic rail removable optic mount. Excellent firearm with PC tuned action. Mine has been reliable and is quite accurate.

I believe all the current Ruger GP series with a rear sight (except the 3" fixed sight model) and all of the S&W L/N frames are tapped for a rail.

I have RDS on my S&W N and K/L frame guns. Easy to mount as long as they already drilled from factory, you can see 3 tapped holes underneath top strap, otherwise you'll have to drill it. Most if not all new production S&W has been drilled for optic.
Right now Alchin mounts for S&W and Ruger are probably best ones, there are a few others that make mounts at least for S&W. The best was Raptor Engineering, they were very well made and sat lower then others., they shot down due to fires in Santa Cruz area and still did not reopen, probably never will, which is too bad.

I'll second the recommendation for Alchin Mounts. I've used them on 686 Competitor and 617s and they're solid.

I've used Weigand for Rugers and those are also a solid choice.

Here are two of mine - not a problem whatsoever.

929 is dirty, it's a shooter with finely tuned trigger for competition. I don't overclean my guns, especially revolvers. The large C-More is great, but not what most non-competition wear. The other gun, 627 PC, has Trijicon without batteries. I'm not a big fan of that red dot, but it's very robust and works.

Taurus just started making their 3" 856 with them and I expect they'll be submitted for roster testing.

I thought roster was basically irrelevant to revolver because of SA conversion?

Korth NXS comes with a rail so it?s ?optics ready? but it?s a bit on the pricier side and you have to be a true believer in wheel guns

Mostly, except for two small potential hiccups - barrel/overall length and potentially difficult SA conversion (think Chiappa Rhino).
