Looking to get a custom CZ... thoughts?

Was thinking of sending a gun to Cajun Gun Works to get worked over, but I found this place in the same area called Wicked Arms.

Looks like nice offerings and they use many of the CGW parts I was going to go with.

    Thoughts on these two:

Shadow2 worth the extra $700 over the SP01 give that both have been worked over the same way?

    Any other suggestions?

Can you please DM me where you are finding shadow 2 available to ppt at free state msrp? (Aka $700 over sp01)

My $0.02 is take 15 minutes and spend $50 to change yourself and put in 13# main spring, 11# recoil spring, extended firing pin and reduced power firing pin spring, and use the $2249 saved to buy 10k rds

Ah good point. location doesn?t show up on the mobile site

There was an s2 in the marketplace for $2k recently. It sat for a few weeks before being sold. I was hoping the market softened to the point where ppt s2 for free state msrp was possible

Check out reddit gun deals. Most recent shadow 2 deal was $940. No brainer at that price.

CGW is a known entity. What's the benefit of going with Wicked? Is there a substantial cost savings? Time savings? Are they supposed to be better?

The trigger on my Cajun sp01 is far superior than my stock S2.

I still like my original Tac Sport and Shadow 2 triggers far more than my heavily modified Cajun SP01 trigger.

Might be wait time. CGW has a lag as to when they'll accept shipment, and another wait to do the work (not sure what either is at the moment.)

OP have you considered a tactical sport to or TSO? You might not have to customize at all.

I can vouch for CGW. I had my SP01 worked over by them. Prepare for long turnaround times.

Unless you want milling done you can do a lot yourself with YouTube videos. It all starts with just watching a disassembly video and then reassembling it with some choice upgrades =)
