HELP!!! Remington Model 51 Transfer from Oregon

    Help me Calguns,

Long story short, some family of mine in Oregon sold my grandfathers Remington Model 51 pistol to a gun dealer in Oregon. I want to buy it an get it back from him. My questions are:

    1) Can the gun be sent from him to an FFL if it is not on the LIST?
    2) Would the gun be considered a C&R due to its age?
    3) If it is a C&R how do I get it down here?

    4) I need an FFL in the Lake Elsinore / South West Riverside area to help with this ASAP!!!!

Any input would be greatly appreciated, time is of the essence.

    Don

The Remington Model 51 is a C&R handgun, therefore it is exempt from the approved list.

    You buy the handgun.
The OR FFL dealer then sends it to a CA FFL dealer.
You then DROS it with the CA FFL dealer.

The OR FFL dealer needs to enroll in the CFLC, in order to be able to ship it to a CA FFL dealer.

Try contacting Bright Spot Pawn in Riverside, to see if they can assist you.
