I remember when it was just Glock 17. Then 19. Now there is a bunch of different models in different calibers. As of today , what do You think are the most popular Glocks?

19 and 43x I’d think, with the 17,19, 45 as far as duty guns.

I took my old duty 22 to the range this morning, still love that gun.

World-wide the most common models in use would be the 17 and 19.
      ^Military using the 17 and Gov/LE using the 19.

Iran, Myanmar, and China are also making/selling unlicensed clones of the 17.

yea they are up to glock 49 now i think they may skip 50 since there is that 50 gi conversion

what annoys me is they have the letter ones like the 17L and 43x it ruins the naming conventions i wonder what glock will be the 30 super carry

I believe Glock is currently at 48.

Available in the USA; there's also other letter variants. Such as the C, M, SF, and S.

Go international and there are more letter variants (i.e. 17A, 17S, 17MB, etc.), they typically denoted country specific modifications due to that country's laws or Gov/Mil/LE contract requirements.

Add the very rare German-GSG9 “only” P9M model. The P9M was the only model Glock ever made that wasn’t part of their “standard numbering” system. It was based off of a Gen2 17, but with heavier springs, maritime cups, I think separate lanyard loop, metal Tritium sights and a hole drilled into the bottom of the magazines for fast water drainage.

It still deserves its own recognition with its unique “model” number.

I would have loved to see the 25 and 28 sold in America, but the USA won?t allow it.

The 25 & 28 would make good throw downs when things didn?t go as planned. Just make sure that it?s in Leroy?s hand when the others show up.

Due to Federal importation laws, the 25 and 28 are only available in the USA for Gov/Mil/LE contract orders.

A few Glock 28 managed to get on the civilian market during the mid-2000s.
A LE agency did a trade in on their used Glock 28 and the distributor resold those via auction as collector items.

They were in 80-85% condition and sold for around $2000 per gun and spare used .380ACP 10 round magazine were $150 a piece.

As of today, definitely Glock 17 and 19. I routinely see both the 17 and 19 carried by various police precincts.

Soon, the Glock 47 will replace the Glock 17 in the full-size arena.

The Glock 21 in .45 ACP is also fairly popular, and with good reason.

I like plinking with a .380 at times. Wife likes it too. I?d love to have the G25 (Glock 19 sized) .380 just for shooting critters and cans around the remote campsites we regularly go to.
