I run them on all 3 of my CCW pistols for years now. Never had issues. I prefer the fact that they still use the stock mags especially if you’ve invest in factory OEM mags already. Yes they are not cheap kits but def worth it for extra +1 or +2 without adding a bulky mag extension.

Shield and Sig 365 work GREAT in both.

The only people that have problems with them are people that don't follow the directions and wing it.

I bought one of the +2 kit, haven't shot it yet and took me a couple of time to install correctly to load plus 2 rounds, with enough clearance to load it on my Shield with the slide closed. What I've been doing since I got it, is to keep it fully loaded for a day or two, unload and reload a few times. Though I still need a mag loader, the spring seems to have loosen up.

My first Magguts was for my P380. The original magazine/spring/follower isn't the most user friendly. Not only did the Magguts parts increase the capacity, but they improved loading and functionality. Magguts may LOOK weird, but they're better than factory. Because of my experience with the P380, I didn't hesitate when Magguts started making a kit for one of my other guns. Their product is a great idea that works flawlessly.

No issues with mine (Shield 1.0) turned my eight rounder into a ten rounder, what's not to like? I also have a Hyve Technologies mag extension and I honestly like the magazine extending down a bit more, don't like to shoot with my pinky hanging off the bottom but I carry my Mag Gutz 10 rounder in a SnagMag as my backup magazine, the gun in the holster has the Hyve Technologies extension.

Thanks for all the input. Guess I’ll submit my order and give them a try!

You should be happy, they seem to run well, even though they feel weird as you are shoving their spring in during assembly.

Expensive for sure. It's the price of a whole new mag. I wish the +2 was the price of the +1.

                          Was thinking the same.
                          Converting a magazine ($25/$35) with MagGuts +2 ($32) runs about ($57/$67)
                          MagGuts +1 ($22) so ($47/$57)
If you need more magazines I would buy the tube ($13) MagGuts ($32) = ($45)
The +1 MagGuts does not come with a floorplate so buying tube only will not work.
The 7rd tubes are impossible to find. # 422370000
The 8rd tubes are still floating around. # 422360000

A market for factory magazine guts ????

I think S&W refers to this as the Shield Plus market.

I've used them on a Kahr PM9 for at least 1000 rounds, no problems (7+1 flush, 8+1 extended), working perfectly since day one with factory mags.
